Natural landmarks shall be characteristic or remarkable objects of inanimate nature (rock formations, rock outcrops of scientific value, earth pyramids, caves, ponoris, waterfalls, deposits of fossils and minerals, sand dunes, etc.) which are of exceptional value because of their inherent rarity, representativeness, aesthetics, or which are important for science and culture.
Activities that may disturb the natural state of the site or reduce its aesthetic value are prohibited in natural sites.
