Climatic factors are natural features that influence the formation of climate in a particular part of the Earth's surface. They are:

- Altitude
The formation and alteration of topography is very slow, imperceptible to human life. In contrast, changes in the atmosphere happen very quickly, sometimes in minutes. They affect people's health, daily activities, work processes and rest.

Bulgaria is represented by 11 wetlands (Ramsar Sites), with a total area of 49 912.43 ha, representing 0.45% of the country's territory - "Lake Atanasovsko", "Belen Islands Complex", "Durankulak Lake", "Ibisha Island", "Shablen Lake", "Poda Locality", "Pomorie Lake", "Ropotamo Complex", "Srebarna Lake", "Vaya Lake" and "Dragomansko Bog Karst Complex".
